Hope / by Jonathan Fiero

a flickering light leads the way

search, gazing, a window

reflecting, the glow seems dim

Open, open!

let light fly, it must breath, just

as I, locked, it's locked

why, why, why?!

It must be freed, before it goes out,

brighten the world, all will see, or be

extinguished, blind we'll be

This light is not light, but rather

hope, for better tomorrows, a

face shining on those, that help

this light free from cold
